Boxed pillows may appear to be the same as boxed cushions. The difference is that pillows are designed to sit on one end, while cushions are most often sat upon.

Making boxed pillows can be tricky. Especially getting those corners matched up perfectly. 

The boxed pillow in this tutorial has an invisible zipper closure, rounded corners, and boxing strips cut into four sections and stitched in the corners. Optional topstitching and piping are also along the pillow's front and back edges.
